John Krasinski Movie PostersThough John Krasinski's film career has been short, he's managed to attach himself to the names of some pretty big stars. From working with Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon early in his career on "Taxi" to his recent adventures in blockbuster films like "Shrek the Third" and 2007's "License to Wed". There are lots of John Krasinski movie posters from films that he has acted in, but he's only had his mug featured on the poster three times. As more of Krasinski's films come out, more and more posters featuring his familiar face will pop up on the market. John Krasinski PosterHere's the three John Krasinski posters that currently show off Krasinski's middle American good looks. License to Wed (2007)This is one of those awful movie posters that ends up literally telling the story of the movie. For fans of John Krasinski, this movie poster is a landmark -- the first movie poster with his face on it. Moving from left to right, the poster for License to Wed shows John Krasinski, Robin Williams, and Mandy Moore lying in a bed together looking awkward. The story of the movie? John Krasinski and Mandy Moore wanna get married and Robin Williams (a reverend) puts them through their paces before giving them his blessing to marry. Can you think of a poster that tells the story of the movie any closer? Check out the "Licensed to Wed" poster at AllPosters.com. Leatherheads (2008)
Krasinski may be difficult to pick out of the crowd, but just look for the nose. Here's the "Leatherheads" poster from AllPosters.com. Away We Go (2009)This is by far the prettiest movie poster featuring John Krasinski, ironic because it may be my least favorite Krasinski project. We see the two main characters of the film (played by Krasinski and SNL alum Maya Rudolph) holding hands, grinning into each other's faces, walking hipster-style down the street all on a background of trippy animations. "Away We Go" is the definition of a hipster movie, written by super-hip Dave Eggers and trying as hard as it can not to look like "Juno" for grownups. John Krasinski gets tons of face time in the film and his big role in the movie translates to a big spot on the poster. You could print the actor's name on his nose, which also gets a prominent place on the poster. The Away We Go poster can be seen here at AllPosters.com. If you're hoping for more John Krasinski posters from film projects, there's good news. Krasinski's star is still on the rise. He's already filming three or four new projects, and it is unlikely that he'll be in a movie any time soon without his face plastered all over the poster.
